Jacob's Graduation

Our family from Texas came for Jacob's graduation. We had so much fun! It was so nice to see everyone! We wish they lived closer. We are trying to tell them that Nebrasks is the "good life."

Hello!

Hello Everyone! I am so excited because I only have about a week left of school. I am so excited to spend the summer with Jayden. More exciting news....we finally got rid of the binky, or as Jayden calls it her "de de." Poor Jayden was so attached to that thing, but it is finally gone. Basically we told her it was gone and kept having to show her that it was no longer in her bed. It was hard, but not as hard as I thought it would be. I think it was harder on me. We just celebrated my mom's birthday the other night. We went to Olive Garden and then came back to our house for cake. While we were eating cake in the backyard Jason noticed that our BIG giant tree was split and he could see through the trunk. We are going to try and save the tree and just have that portion cut off. The tree man is not sure it will survive, but we thought we would give it a try and then if it doesn't work we will have the rest of it cut down. How sad would that be. That tree is huge and shades our entire yard. We are starting to get really excited for our trip to Illinois. We can't wait to see everyone. Jayden will be meeting the Young's for the first time. I can't wait. Well, I am doing laundry and I am getting tired. I just wanted to send you a quick update. Not much else going on here. Talk to you soon!

Hello!

Hello! Well, school is really starting to come to an end and fast. Jayden and I can't wait to spend our summer together! We have had a couple very busy weeks. Jason has been mowing a lot and we just seem to be running back and forth to different things. Yesterday we went to Kristen Chambers' graduation party (Jason's cousin) and this coming weekend we will be going to Jacob's graduation (Erin's cousin). I am excited for Jacob's graduation because a lot of my family that I rarely see will be in town. A couple weeks ago we sold my car to Rachel and joined the mini van club. We love it! I know some of you are saying we are weird, but we really do love having the space. We ended up buying my parents mini van and they down sized to a car since they don't have anyone to haul around anymore. Last week Lincoln Plating announced their new name. They will now be called Lincoln Industries. They changed their name because they are no longer just a plating company, and haven't been for some time. Their new slogan is "finishing is just the beginning." Well, I just wanted to say hello to everyone. Hope all is well! Happy mother's day to all you moms out there.

Pictures: Jayden and her neighbor friend Alyssa love to play outside together in the evenings (they really enjoy the jump-o-lene), Jayden and daddy like to sit on the porch and watch the cars go by, Jayden LOVES to wear mommy and daddy's shoes around the house, And finally last weekend we took Jayden to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time (Aunt Rachel had been wanting to take her there).
