Chambers Family Update!
Hello all! I know it has been a long time since I have updated the blog, but we have been very busy. Jayden and I are having a GREAT, busy summer together. Every Monday we go to toddler time at the library. Jayden loves this because it is similar to things they do at her daycare during group time. We sing songs, say nursery rhymes and listen to stories. Jayden is in the summer reading program so we have been checking out and reading lots of books. We have met Daddy for lunch a couple times, had a grandma day, gone shopping, play outside, and even went on vacation. We have also been busy with getting estimates for our new roof. They are talking that they might be able to start the job this month. We also will be working on pouring concrete and building our new shed (I should say Daddy's shed). When we tore down the old shed we found termites (live ones). Needless to say we will be having our entire property treated this month as well.
We just got back from vacation last weekend. We had a great time, but both agreed that it was too short. We went to Illinois to visit my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. While we were there we had my grandparents 50th weeding anniversary celebration. It was very nice. My mom, and her siblings, along with their spouses, have been planning this party for some time. It was very nice. They did a wonderful job. Grandma and Grandpa had a great time. They had a professional photographer come out and capture the memories. It was very nice, and very fun to have the family all together in one spot. While we were there we also celebrated my cousin Hannah's high school graduation and cousin Gabe's middle school graduation. I celebrated my 26th birthday while on vacation with my family. It was very nice.
Jason's grandpa has been ill so we have spent some time with him. He is still same old Papa, even while he isn't feeling well. Of course he continues to spoil Jayden with cookies and M&M's. She always knows she won't go hungry at Papa and Marjorie's house. Please keep Papa and his health in your prayers.
Jason is still mowing away and enjoying Lincoln Industries. He has now been there for 6 months. Time really does fly. They were just voted number 11, for the 4th straight year in a row, for one of the top 25 companies to work for in the nation. We are so blessed to have Jason working for such a wonderful company. He is so happy there.
Jayden had her 18 month check up right before heading to Illinois. She is right on target. She is so much fun! It seems she learns something new every second of the day.
We celebrated the fourth of July with friends on the third and family on the fourth. My aunt Deb and Uncle Russ had the family over for burgers, brats, and fried chicken. We had fun just hanging out and playing yard games.
I know this is a huge update. Hope all is well with everyone!
